The Weekend Sunrise presenter, who was partnered with Brendon Midson in this year's Australian version of the reality television show, was eliminated after performing a waltz and paso doble in last night's episode.
Dancing with the Stars judge Josh Horner told Armytage after her waltz: "This is one of your best performances. But against the other competitors you've left it too late."
When the verdict was announced, the TV star said: "I'm pretty happy with that. I made it to week nine in a dancing competition." She added that she was "proud" to have raised money for Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia, saying: "They do such wonderful work."
My Kitchen Rules chef Manu Feildel, WAG Haley Bracken and singer Damien Leith will now battle it out in next week's final of the show.
Armytage said earlier in the Dancing with the Stars season that she had gained confidence in her body during the show and was now "proud" of her curves.
Swimwear model Lara Bingle was eliminated from the show last week after being labelled "dull" by judge Todd McKenney. She later said that his comments about her were "unneccessary".
