Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou has revealed that she would love the Dancing with the Stars Australia presenting job.

The actress, who is best known for playing Leah Patterson-Baker in the soap, won Dancing with the Stars in 2005. She said that she would be very flattered if she was offered the role left vacant by Sonia Kruger.

Nicodemou told the Herald Sun: "Gosh, I haven't been approached but I'd definitely consider it. It would be massive shoes to fill, but I love the show and Sonia's role was focused on the really positive bit of the show, which would be great.

"You'd do it just for the frocks alone - although I'd ask if I could have Sonia's height and figure as well."

Nicodemou is currently hosting new Seven Network dating show Please Marry My Boy, which sees mums set up their single sons with women.

She said of the format: "Mother definitely knows best, although there are exceptions. My mum and I, for example."

Nicodemou is believed to be trying for a child with her husband of five years Chrys Xipolitas. She that she remains philosophical about trying for a baby, saying: "It will happen when it happens."

Please Marry My Boy premieres tonight (January 30) at 8.45pm on Seven.
