The 39-year-old mother-of-three, who won reality cooking competition MasterChef Australia last year, said that her Home Cooked! series is a great way to mark her upcoming 40th birthday.
Goodwin told Woman's Day magazine: "I'm loving it. I never thought a love of cooking would lead me to this. It was always just something I did for my family and friends. So Home Cooked! really is an amazing experience.
"I'm looking forward to my forties because every decade seems to get better. You know yourself better at this stage of life. You're more confident. I wish I could go back and say to my 20-year-old self, 'Don't be so hard on yourself.'
"I had three babies and wanted everything to be perfect. And, of course, it can't be. Motherhood is bloody hard. If I could have that time again, I'd worry so much less and play so much more."
Guests on Goodwin's new series include cricketer Steve Waugh, TV presenter Natalie Gruzlewski and Underbelly actor Gyton Grantley.
