'MasterChef' couple take on 'Iron Chef'

Chris Badenoch and Julia Jenkins, who got together after taking part in the reality cooking series nearly two years ago, will go head-to-head against celeb chefs Neil Perry, Guy Grossi and Guillaume Brahimi in the new Aussie version of Iron Chef.
Badenoch, who is due to open Victoria restaurant Josie Bones soon, told the Herald Sun: "People think I went quiet after MasterChef but that wasn't the case at all. I [just] wasn't putting my head on every ad offer I got.
"[Iron Chef] was the opportunity to push myself. It's one thing cooking against other amateurs. Going up against guys of this calibre is a rare opportunity."
He said of his relationship with Jenkins: "All the doubters out there have been proven wrong. We're doing the restaurant together and it will be a combination of our ideas."
