The MasterChef contestant, who was eliminated from the Australian version of the reality television show earlier this week after over-salting a chicken dish, said that he would rather set a friend of his up with fellow competitor Paxton-Hall than date her himself.
When asked about the relationship rumours in his official exit interview, Quinn said: "No, there's nothing going on with me and Ellie. I've got a friend who likes the look of her though, so I wouldn't want to step on his toes."
When the Quinn and Paxton-Hall dating reports first surfaced, he denied them but admitted that she was the kind of girl he would go out with.
Paxton-Hall still remains in the MasterChef competition alongside Alana Lowes, Dani Venn, Michael Weldon and Kate Bracks.
After his elimination, he said that he thought viewers had perhaps "judge[d] a book by its cover" and presumed that he wouldn't "be able to cook" because of his relaxed "exterior image", adding: "I was happy to get so far and show people a little bit more... someone who can cook, speak, have a decent input into the show and hopefully society when it all finishes up."
Billy Law was eliminated from MasterChef for the second time last week. Just before the episode was televised, he posted a message on Twitter giving away the outcome of the challenge.
