The Australian television and radio personality, who appeared on last year's version of the reality TV show alongside Guy Sebastian, Natalie Imbruglia and Ronan Keating, said that it involves too much "work".
Sandilands announced on his radio show: "I'm not doing it. Not because I didn't like it. I thought the show was great and it was great fun to do but it's just too hectic, it's too much. It's too much work, you know, I don't like a lot of work.
"So I've told Channel Seven, 'No. Thank you so much for the great opportunity but I'm not doing it.'"
He also revealed that Sebastian was the only judge to sign on again from last year, saying: "Ronan and Natalie both rang me last week, separately, saying that their negotiations had stalled because I've said no and then Channel Seven said, 'Well we don't know if we're doing it now.'"
