The Australian actor, who is best known for playing policeman-turned-restaurateur Angelo Rossetti in Home and Away, has signed another contract with Channel Seven to present the reality TV show for the second year running, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Jacobz was brought in to host the 2010 series of the show at the last minute when confirmed presenter Matthew Newton checked into a Sydney rehab centre after allegedly bashing then-girlfriend Rachael Taylor.
Last year's judge Kyle Sandilands recently revealed that he will not be returning to the show because being a judge and mentor is "too much work" alongside his television and radio commitments.
Fellow judge Ronan Keating has apparently signed a contract to be a judge again, while Aussie singers Guy Sebastian and Natalie Imbruglia have not yet been confirmed.
