The singer, who is a judge on the panel of the reality television show alongside musicians Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Ronan Keating and Guy Sebastian, said that she wants to be known as the "bitch" of the series.
In a radio interview with Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O, the hosts asked Mel B if it was true that she labelled Sebastian "boring", Bassingthwaighte as "untrustworthy" and Keating as "vain". She replied: "Did I really say that? I'm allowed to say what I want when I want... so yeah, I did say that.
"They're all scared of me and I love it, there's got to be one bitch on the show so I might as well take that bloody crown."

Mel B continued: "You know what... they're all really nice, but you know life, we all have our flaws. I'm sure I've got many, but actually I do think I'm quite perfect on the panel. Everybody has their own little thing. I just happen to be the one that points it out."
Sebastian responded to his fellow panellist's comments, saying that "her answer to every argument is like a statistic of how good she is". The former Spice Girl replied: "I'd never even heard of Guy until I went to Australia anyway."
In this week's first episode of The X Factor, the judges were wowed by Iraqi warfare victim Emmanuel Kelly.
