The 15-year-old wannabe singer, who was mentored by judge Mel B during her time on the reality television show, went head-to-head with favourite Reece Mastin after they found themselves with the least viewer votes.
Parie was praised by all judges and even "welcomed back" into the competition after her rendition of David Guetta and Kelly Rowland's 'When Love Takes Over'.
Judges Guy Sebastian and Natalie Bassingthwaighte could not fault Mastin's performance, but Ronan Keating did tell the 16-year-old contestant that he wants to "see something different" from him next week.
Parie's survival song was Avril Lavigne's 'I'm With You', while Mastin performed Bon Jovi's 'Always'. Mel B naturally chose to save Parie, while Sebastian supported his own act Mastin. Keating and Bassingthwaighte then both said that they wanted to save Mastin, so Parie was sent home.
Parie and Mastin have been romantically linked since the beginning of this series of The X Factor. One industry insider joked: "Hormones are flying," but the pair later insisted that they are just friends.
Keating recently caused controversy by telling Mastin that he should leave school to follow his dream of being a singer.
