The Australian couple, who are best known for recently taking part in reality television series The Amazing Race, said that they made the mutual decision to end their relationship about two weeks ago.
Reports have claimed that the Seven Network tried to hide an earlier split in order to get better ratings on the show, but Drimousis has insisted that the rumours are "rubbish", telling the Herald Sun: "We decided to not continue. It has nothing to do with the show."
Pselletes and Drimousis caused controversy with their constant bickering during filming for The Amazing Race.
Pselletes later said that he was "scared" when he saw himself on TV because he had no idea how chauvinistic and aggressive he could be towards his girlfriend.
He said: "I'm disgusted with my behaviour. I'm ashamed of myself. I saw some footage of me on the show and I scared myself."
Pselletes also said that he wanted to "change" because he could see "a bit of disappointment" in the eyes of Drimousis's parents after they saw his treatment of their daughter.
Renovation series The Block premiered on Channel Nine last week, with bickering contestants Josh and Jenna admitting that they were "worried" that they would receive the same backlash as Pselletes and Drimousis.
