Marcus, Noirin bemoan new housemates

Noirin and Marcus have agreed not to trust Kenneth, Hira and Tom.

Earlier this afternoon, Marcus took Noirin to one side to discuss the new housemates after Tom initiated a friendly chat about life in the house.

An irritated Marcus told Noirin that he thinks that Tom is aiming to worm his way into the housemates' good books.

"He's just realised that gameplan has tanked, so he's trying a different way," said the window fitter. "He's trying to be best friends but it's not happening. He came over to me to be matey-mates and smarm."

Marcus went on to describe how Tom seems to be fishing for information regarding his relationship with Noirin, while the Dubliner instantly agreed.

"He's been chasing me and Sophie. I don't like being played," she stated. "I can smell a player a mile away."

Marcus then said that he believes that Tom is trying to influence Noirin in a bid to manipulate the house hierarchy.

"He's got six or seven levels of smarm to lay on the table before he's done. You're still going to be rope for a couple more days," Marcus advised.

Changing the subject, Noirin began discussing the other new contestants and wasn't too positive about ex-housemate Karly's boyfriend.

"Kenneth is freaking me out. He keeps saying inappropriate things to me and Dogface."

Marcus agreed with Noirin that Bea and David seemed genuinely sociable, although both believed that Hira was transparently deceitful.

"She's making me sick with her fake niceness," Noirin added. "There's Bea who's real. Hira is Mary Poppins quadroupled. It's like an act. She's not all that. I don't see how long she'll get away with being so nice."
