It was a case of fabrication-ism not hypnotism on Monday lunchtime when Brian, Helen and Paul were fooled by the group's most elaborate practical joke to date.
Following a carefully constructed plan Elizabeth pretended to hypnotise Bubble and Josh while the group were sunbathing in the garden.
The three sat dumbfounded as the lads obeyed Elizabeth's every command proving that gullibility has reached new levels in the house.
As part of the prank, every time the partners in crime heard Elizabeth or Brian say, "lush", Bubble was told to be overly nice to Brian, while Josh was instructed to be scared of the chickens and the, "demons behind the mirrors."
The rest of the housemates were in on the hoax, and watched in artificial amazement as Brian, Helen and Paul sat truly gob-smacked.
And Brian couldn't resist taking advantage of the situation, shouting 'lush' three times to witness Bubble's affected kindness.
Dean was struggling to suppress his giggles as the outspoken housemate first sprayed suntan lotion on the Irishman's back and then offered to pander to his every need.
Josh meanwhile was staring with fear towards the chickens, mocking Brian's own terror of the house's poultry. He also attempted to convince everyone there were, "demons everywhere."
"You were under Brian's spell," Helen gleefully announced to Bubble when he appeared to snap out of it, blissfully unaware that she had been conned.
"I was scared," admitted Brian. However, the fear clearly didn't grip for long as minutes later the camp housemate was yelling: "I want a go!"
And Amma added to the show when she began warning against the dangers of hypnotism. "I've seen how this can f**k you up," she warned.
The fun was continuing well into the hazy afternoon as Bubble and Josh maintained the illusion.
And as Dean rightly summarised: "[They have] not only swallowed it hook, line and sinker but the fisherman's arm as well. All that's left is a little chair by the side of the water."
