Ahmed gets his night

Resident eviction dodger Ahmed finally got his wish this evening - to have his "night" with Dav-ina.

Davina spoke to the house just before 9.30pm to announce the result. On hearing his name, Ahmed jumped up from the sofas and punched the air, cheering "yes!"

The other housemates took their turns to give him a hug, each wishing him well. Even his nemesis Michelle had a kind word, telling him to "take care" and enjoy his night.

Ahmed was clearly contented to be on the way out. "I'm happy, I've enjoyed myself, but now it's time to go," he announced to the group, adding that despite everything that had happened over the seven weeks, he really did like everyone.

Shortly after 10pm, Davina announced it was time for Ahmed to leave. The group sang him out with a chorus of his self-penned anthem: "A - Amazing, H for hero, M for mega, E for Easy, D, delrious. Ah, ah, ah... Ahmed!"

Predictably, the crowd booed when he exited the front doors but he took it all on the chin, cheering back at them while pointing and laughing.

Listening against the doors, the rest of the group fell about laughing when they heard his reaction to the crowd. "Ahmed's in his element," said Shell, noticably happy for the first time ever after an eviction.
