Davina McCall will host a new Sunday-night psychology show for Big Brother 8.

Big Brother On The Couch will analyse the behaviour of housemates each week with the help of psychologists.

An insider told The Sun: "Big Brother fans will love it - it's the perfect night in. On The Couch will be a round-up of what's happening in the house and Davina's take on the week. She'll be joined by names from the world of psychology to help work out the housemates' behaviour."

The show will be followed by an hour-long update of events from the house, including Friday night's eviction. Channel 4 have decided to scrap the Saturday night update show because it usually rates badly against rival entertainment programmes on BBC One and ITV1.
