Angel ('Big Brother 10')

Russian-born boxer Angel McKenzie became the third housemate to be evicted from Big Brother 10 on Friday night, losing out in the public vote to Halfwit (Freddie). The 35-year-old - currently living in South London - had been one of the most captivating characters with her unusual eating habits and naked swimming, providing some truly bizarre moments for this year's series. We caught up with Angel on Saturday to find out whether she enjoyed her 23 days inside the Big Brother house.

How was it to be up against Freddie? He was one of the few people that you seemed close to in the house.
"Freddie was my best friend. There was not so much a sexual feeling, we were just great friends. He was the best in the house and I enjoyed having conversations with him. I really adore him. He told me his life story and I found it very close to my story. At first I judged him on how he looked and thought he was a village idiot and that he had problems with his brain, but I soon discovered that I couldn't be more wrong. I was very surprised that the housemates put him up for eviction and in my opinion they should give him a break. But he's a strong guy and he knows his destination. He could win, but I'm afraid people will put more and more pressure on him. He may then lose himself a bit and get angry and argue. I just hope he stays nice, polite and doesn't raise his voice."

How did you feel when you realised that Norin had nominated you?
"My heart is broken. When they showed me that she wanted me evicted, I decided that I'm not going to fall in love anymore. You can probably hear in my voice now, I'm almost ready to cry, but I don't want the world to see that. I was trying to put smiles on my face this morning, but many times in my life I have been stabbed by women, it's nothing new for me. I don't hate her, I still love her, I wish her luck and all the best. It was only a few weeks in the house, but I'm the sort of person that can fall in love very quickly."

Who was the better kisser out of her and Freddie?
"I enjoyed the Freddie kiss because it was with tobacco and alcohol on his breath. Noirin wasn't such a long kiss, but I enjoyed it a lot more because it was more passionate and very sudden. It came from nowhere and I like things coming from nowhere - especially kisses. I kissed a girl and I liked it. I was thinking that our relationship could go on, but I'm out here now and I need to move on. I will try to forget, but it's going to be hard, hard, hard."

What was your naked swimming all about? Were you trying to get camera time?
"I like to talk to the world with my body. I wanted people to see a good looking body, which could inspire them. Everything comes and goes in this world; money comes and goes, friends come and go, but the body stays with you all your life. It's very important to love your body and accept your body. I've come through problems and anger with my body and I'm a much better, happier and nice person now. My naked swimming is just me showing that I have no complex, come on world swim with me, I have no complexes, it's just nature. I don't want a contract with Playboy or anything!"

Your dieting was fairly extreme. Do you think you may be slightly obsessed with fitness?
"I would say yes, I'm obsessed. My artwork is all about the body. But we need to decide now what we want to be, because the world is not getting any fitter. We are getting worse. I think in the future people will understand this soon. People love Jesus Christ, but they wouldn't love him if he was fat. He looks fit and beautiful on the cross."

Do you regret your comments about Norin looking three months pregnant?
"I do understand and life is hard. I used to be fat and food is a drug. It's easy when you are upset to just go and eat food. When you're stressed you go eat and food's the best treatment. If you looked at all the conversations, people were always talking to me about getting fat. Lisa changed her trousers three times on the last day because her abdominal fat was coming out. People kept saying they were getting fat. I never said anyone was fat, I just said that Norin looked 'three months pregnant'. But whatever happened, happened. I never said the word fat, because that word hurts people."
