Darnell spoke to Stuart about the game of Big Brother this afternoon.
He explained that he did not like it when people said he was on the show for the money, offering evidence that it wasn't true.
"Anyone who's gone so far would never have voted for me," he argued. "But they're not good for the house. If you're here for the experience and not to play the game, it's good they're gone."
He added that for people to get to the end of the show, they have to have the most friends, so making friends is part of the game.
"Even when we're not playing the game, we're playing the game," he observed.
Darnell told Stuart that every little thing that happened in the house made a "humongous" difference. He noted: "It's all about chances to have conversations and relationships."
"That's part of the game," he declared. "Making friends, and making friends with the right people. The way you go about it, you can look at that as game-playing. Obviously there's a grey area."
Stuart sighed: "I don't really make a lot of effort."
