The latest news snippets and gossip from the house...
Lisa informed the group that she chose to sleep on a camp bed for three years in order to ensure that her daughter had a proper bed to sleep on. Undaunted by the prospect of sleeping in the old B-block bedroom during her stint in "Hell", she said she had suffered the thin mattress "out of choice". Meanwhile, Rex took the opportunity to mock Mikey’s sentencing to the "rock hard beds": "Are you gonna be able to handle it?" he joked.Belinda groaned as Rex announced that Darnell must sentence six housemates to a spell in "Hell", but Darnell was less worried about the "nasty" task he faced. "This is not a nasty choice," he told her, adding: "This is straightforward."The group was locked in the task room for over an hour as the divide was put up in the main house. Towards the end of their time, Mo began eating leftover breakfast treats, which Rex said had been on the floor. "Oh Mo!" exclaimed Bex in disgust. "What? I’m hungry," said a defensive Mo. "Nobody stepped on it." "If we didn't throw that food we could have had lunch now," Rex pointed out to him.A tired and irritable Rex became annoyed with Rachel for running round him in the garden. The chef lay on a sun lounger just minutes after being woken by the Big Brother alarm and expressed his annoyance that Rachel was thudding around him. "That's rather annoying, Rachel. Can't you run on the spot or something?" Stu then asked the trainee teacher how many laps she had left to do and advised her to do them "quickly". Rex, who has previously come under fire for making comments about Bex's weight, then whispered to Stu: "It doesn't seem to be working, all that running." Stu laughed and Rex added: "I'm going to stop right there with that one."Belinda this afternoon expressed her desire to keep things civil between the Heaven and Hell sides of the house. "Don't you think we should be a little bit nice?" she asked Lisa as Bex and Luke began to abuse the heavenly bunch over the divide. "It doesn't get you anywhere," Lisa responded. Belinda later declared that she would not let the situation "corrupt" her. "You can be honourable to who you are, even when you are in Hell," she said. Lisa told Dale that she had "in some weird way" predicted the Heaven and Hell divide. She explained that she had woken up feeling unusually hot and had subconciously opted to wear a red outfit, which could be seen to represent the fires of hell. Dale told her she was being "preposterous".Rex quizzed Rachel on her knowledge of his girlfriend, with her correctly answering about her hair and eye colour. "What else is unique about her?" asked Rex. "She’s got big boobies!" said Rachel, making Mo laugh. "Do you reckon I’d get on with her?" asked Rachel. "I reckon you’d get on with anyone," answered Rex, before changing the subject by asking her to name the largest type of penguin.Bex became annoyed earlier when her "last good item" was destroyed by the garden mangle. She screamed as she sat outside the Diary Room, refusing to hold a conversation with Belinda until she had spoken to Big Brother. On being told that she would be provided with pink thread later in the day, she perked up and politely asked Lisa if she could repair the damage in time for her to wear it that evening.
