  • Mikey refused to go to the ashtray today to have his fingers taped by Rex. The Head of House had been charged with putting white parcel tape on housemates' fingers as part of the costumes for this week's task. "Are you smoking just now, Rex?" Mikey asked, stating it was fairer for Rex to leave the ashtray. Rex said he would go to Mikey later on, adding: "I just wanted to burn you with my cigarette."

  • Rex told Nicole not to let other people bother her today. The couple were sitting in the ashtray during a break from the task rehearsals. He said she was the best dancer and needed to hold the troupe together in order for the group to pass this week's shopping task. Nicole had been bothered by something that Mohamed had said, but Rex told her to ignore it. He added that Mo had made the remark as he felt inferior.

  • Some of the housemates wondered if there would be a surprise eviction tonight, but Sara pointed out that they would have heard the crowd. However, Mohamed failed to reassure her by revealing that there had been a surprise eviction with a quiet crowd before, as well as one where the crowd was in the studio. "Really?" she asked, worriedly.

  • The housemates were provided with alcohol, but had difficulty dividing it between them. Sara and Lisa decided to share a bottle of wine, while Darnell decided that a glass of wine was equal to two beers. Meanwhile, Michael complained that the non-drinkers only had half a glass of sparkling pear juice each.

  • The group was interested to hear from Rex how the task had looked. Although he said it was "amazing", he wasn't entirely complimentary. He revealed that the zombies' growling sounded like a "bunch of cats", and laughed: "Michael was doing his own music video." He added that Kathreya sometimes looked like a "rabbit in the headlights".

  • Kat pointed out that there is a lot of queuing to be done in the Big Brother house tonight. The observation came after housemates lined up to wash off their zombie makeup. She said she was going after Rachel in the shower, and would be followed by Nicole. "Everything is always a queue," she mused. Darnell was in the bath at the time and said "Ah, this sucks", as he attempted to wash away the thick stage makeup from his face and head.

  • Mohamed likened his appearance to that of a badger after he sprayed his afro for the Michael Jackson task. "What is that black and white animal called?" he asked Sara. "A leopard," replied the PA, before she went on to suggest a zebra. Mo was eventually reminded by Rex that the name of the animal he thought he looked like was a badger.
