  • Mohamed annoyed Kathreya this afternoon as he persistently tickled her and ruffled her hair. "What are you doing?" she asked as he frantically stroked her chin. Mohamed replied that he was playing with his "30-year-old pet". When Kathreya explained that she did not want to be his pet, he replied: "OK then. My 25-year-old pet." "Mohamed, you have to understand that women just don't want you touching them, full stop," Rex said.

  • Lisa and Sara became increasingly frustrated with Darnell's unpredictable behaviour this afternoon. As the trio chatted about Mikey's blindness, Darnell complained that members of the group had been "patronising" by telling Mikey that he was "amazing" during the 'Thriller' task. When Sara said that she didn't think that was the case, Darnell got annoyed and walked away. As Lisa wondered what was wrong, Sara said: "Just shut up and don't say anything. It's the best way."

  • Kat told Darnell that she had not noticed him in the bedroom this evening, prompting him to deduce that he won't be missed from the house when he goes. "I had to look twice," Kat innocently declared. "That is why when I go, you guys won't miss me," Darnell said. Kat sang 'Cookie Love' to cheer him up, but it failed to do so, prompting her to tell him that he was speaking "rubbish".

  • Rex pointed out that this Saturday will be the last Saturday in the house as he sat with the group in the luxury room tonight. Housemates then noted that the same could be said for Monday and Tuesday, for example. "I wish they would tell us what is going on this week so we all know," Rachel said.

  • Kat, Rex and Darnell performed sit-ups as they lay on the luxury bedroom floor this evening. Rex led the session, which appeared to be torturous for Kat. At first, Rex told her that her anguished counting was putting him off. "Can you count in your head please," he asked. Following more exercises in which Kat groaned loudly, Rex said: "You don’t have to make noise in everything you do. What were you doing, having a poo?"

  • Mikey told group members that he can travel anywhere in Scotland on the trains and buses for free because he is blind. He was speaking in the living area, when Darnell revealed that he too had a pass but did not like talking about it. "Can we please change the subject, please," he requested. Mikey told Rachel that the thinking behind the concessionary card was that blind people can’t drive and there is also an issue of social isolation. He said it saved him about £40 a week and meant he could get out and about easily.

  • Darnell was asked by Lisa today if he preferred the American way of life or living in London. Darnell said he liked the American way of life, but also liked living in London. "He has no choice in the matter," pointed out Mikey.

  • Kat noted that the shopping task was only two-hours long today, voicing her fears to Rachel that it could mean more surprises were on the way. Rachel told her not to think about it, adding that she was not going to worry.
