Darnell threatened to walk after his row with Kat this evening, heading to the Diary Room and remaining there for some time.
While inside, Rex and Mo grew increasingly worried that he might not come back.
"I will miss Darnell a lot," said Rex. "I really feel that he makes a massive difference to the house."
He continued: "If he does come back, he’s gonna be in a very different mood."
"He’s not gonna wanna speak to her at all," said Mo of Kat. "Even though he said, 'Leave me, don’t talk to me,' she carried on talking to him."
Kat also worried that Darnell might not return, saying that he would "break [her] heart" if he left.
"I’m scared!" she told Rachel and Sara as the girls sat in the bedroom comforting her.
"He went in there so he doesn’t say anything that will upset you," assured Rachel. "He went in because he cares about you, Kat."
But when Kat confided in Rex, he warned that Big Brother might not be able to persuade him to come back so easily.
