  • Big Brother today requested the return of the red blanket which Rachel has become attached to during her time in the house. "I’m not going to sleep without my red blanket tonight," she announced. The trainee teacher said Big Brother "stole" the cover from her and said she could not believe it had been taken away.

  • Rachel went to the Diary Room to request the use of a hair dryer or straighteners ahead of tomorrow's eviction. She told Sara that it could do no harm to make the request, adding that they have no tokens for the luxury items. "I can only ask," she said.

  • Mikey said he wants to stress that not all blind people are like him in that they get freaked out by loud noises. He told Rachel that he works with a few friends who enjoy a good party. Rachel jumped on the bandwagon, stating that not all Welsh people forget facts and general knowledge like she sometimes does.

  • Mikey and Darnell spent several minutes talking about smoking this afternoon. Darnell confessed that he was a "full time smoker" when he lived in the USA but quit as soon as he moved to London. When Mikey pointed out that he had seen Darnell smoke during his time in the house, he said: "Yeah, but it just made me realise that I'm not really down with it."

  • Darnell wondered which family members would be at the final tomorrow after he failed to remember the names he had written on his forms. He told Sara that his Aunt lived alone so would appreciate the opportunity to watch the show as part of the audience. "My uncle will have the whole family round to watch together," he explained. Sara told Darnell that she had written down her sister's name but knew she would not be able to afford the flights from Australia to be there.

  • Darnell refused to allow Rex to dress him tonight for the special Farewell Dinner laid on by Big Brother. Rex argued that housemates should be "dressed to impress", not "dressed as though they are about to jump off a bridge". Darnell remained unconvinced, stating that he did not want to get dressed up smartly.

  • Having seen the table manners of some of the group tonight, Rex said he was having "second thoughts" about inviting any of them to his restaurants. Mikey promptly tucked into his lamb using his hands, then later said he was attempting to bite off a fingernail in order to dislodge a piece of meat that was stuck between his teeth.
