Marcus, Noirin examine their friendship

Marcus and Noirin discussed their relationship again last night.

As the pair sat in the living area, Marcus described Noirin as "very special", while she called him a "special friend".

Marcus apologised for being "negative", before asking: "Am I not physically attractive to you?"

"You're my friend, though," Noirin replied. "I can't see friends as anything else than my friends. I'm not physically attracted to Tom either. He was just a new person."

Marcus remarked that Noirin described certain people as "not her type", but dated them anyway.

"That's why you should give me a shot," he announced. "I think you're really special. That little ray of hope comes from the complete opposite place to where you think, because I'm always thinking about you."

Noirin insisted that she thinks of Marcus as a friend, but he was undeterred and argued that "mindsets do change".

"I can't be that bad to look at, Noirin," he continued.

"That's nothing to do with it," she responded. "I think you're a really nice guy, but like I said to you, my ex is up here and everyone else is down here."
