City slicker Nick seems to have overcome his nerves of yesterday. A bonding session with posh hippy Sada has revealed that our high-flying money- spinner is actually a bit of a self- styled spiritual guru. Nick, who was dreading his first day in Big Brother house, seems to be fast finding his feet - and also reaching out to his feminine side.

Nick has already told yoga mad Sada that he is well up for morning yoga sessions and is only too willing to demonstrate to her his prowess in the hands-on healing department.

That's not all. He's not afraid to cry. All together now... aah. Old time weepy, 'It's a Wonderful Life' gets him every time. The last time being only 3 days ago. Nick won serious Brownie points with his new house-mates earlier on. He whipped up the first Big Brother meal - a tasty stir-fry - to a hearty round of applause.

Nick has certainly made an impression on everyone with his cooking, crying and cool karma but perhaps most with Sada. Dark-haired Dubliner, Anna, had no choice but to sit gooseberry-like while Sada and Nick waxed spiritual over her head. While they went into alternative mode chatting about energy planes, ex-nun Anna appeared to be a little out on a limb.

But Nick would surely be just as interested in holistic touchy feely emotion with anyone. It must be blind coincidence that Sada happens to be tall, blonde and elastic. Ulterior motives have definitely not been mentioned. (!)

Big Brother is a Bazal production for Channel 4.
