Dizzy, sexy and a little bit dim, Helen has left the Big Brother House in second place.

She gained 39% of the final vote - 2,680,463 votes in total out of 7.2million cast for the entire week!

During her stay, the bubbly hairdresser from Wales celebrated her 23rd birthday, puked in the kitchen sink, cried on numerous occasions, flirted outrageously with Paul, suffered two sporting injuries and fell in love... with a fluffy white pooch called Paddy.

Two weeks in, the frustrated blonde confessed she'd been counting the days since she last had sex with her boyfriend, Big G. But when her housemates then hinted at a possible romantic liaison with Paul she said: "If Paul came on to me I think I would be physically sick!"

But as the weeks passed her heart started to melt in Paul's charismatic presence.

As soon as she learnt she was up for eviction against Josh, the self-confessed Whigfield fan stepped up her flirting with Paul and even snuggled up to him in bed.

They shared a romantic meal and had many playful pillow fights to relieve their sexual tension. Innuendoes came thick and fast from both sides, resulting in Paul's confession that he had strong feelings for her.

But, worried how the public would perceive their friendship, Helen played down the affair. "I don't fancy him and he doesn't fancy me," she told the group.

Yet when Paul and Helen were pitched head-to-head in last week's eviction vote their relationship intensified. Paul appeared to be trying to back off but Helen's blood was up and she constantly pestered him to sleep with her in the den.

On their final night together, he gave in and the couple spent four hours hidden under blankets, cuddling and whispering.

After he was evicted in week eight, Helen took to sleeping in his bed and even went as far as to sniff his pillow in hope of recapturing his smell.

The Big Brother psychologists diagnosed her as lovesick as she took to wearing Paul's microphone and spending time in the den where they'd spent their last night together.

Helen also loved a drink and was often the first housemate to get drunk. Her intoxication peaked during Brian's birthday party when she cut her finger on a broken champagne glass and puked after drinking too much.

The Welsh lass loved the sun almost as much as the booze but her habit of falling asleep before turning over meant she achieved more of a crabstick effect rather than an all over tan.

She was also enthusiastic when it came to sports, though the dancer was unfortunate to suffer a couple of blows to the head - first during a cricket match and then during a volleyball match.

Helen had one nemesis in the House and that was Narinder. The feisty pair never did see eye to eye and their constant bickering became a talking point in the House. And while Helen tried to make friends with her rival it was never going to happen.

The pair's already tense relationship was made worse when Helen misheard a Narinder comment about the salon where she works in Wales.

"I don't know how you can say that when you don't even know where I work," Helen shouted in rage, thinking Narinder had called her hairdressers 'crappy' instead of 'classy.'

Narinder protested her innocence but Helen wasn't having any of it and the rift between them remained unresolved.

The girl from the Valleys may be best remembered for her obsession with all things pink and sparkly and her Friday routine of spending the day in leopard print dressing gown and rollers.

She wasn't much of a whiz in the kitchen as she burnt porridge, ruined bread and dropped the group's entire meal all over the kitchen floor when it was her turn to cook.

But she wasted no time in practicing her hairdressing skills and had a go at cutting everyone's hair, except for Narinder of course, who she made of point of avoiding.

When she entered the House the blonde claimed her main ambition was to own a pair of Gucci shoes and matching handbag. So when Big Brother made her choose between such expensive items and a party for the whole group to celebrate her 23rd birthday, it was a tough decision to make.

In the end though the kind-hearted girl-next-door forfeited her dream shoes for the party. "I think everyone in here could do with a good booze up and a meal," she told Big Brother.

And now her time in the House is over but we will never forget her love of blinking, her unfulfilled romance and her complete lack of general knowledge. Love her or hate her, you can't fail to have been entertained by her.

Big Brother 2 is a Bazal production for Channel 4.
