'On this day' is a new feature on DS:BB, taking a look back at what happened in the house on this day in each of the past three series.

Big Brother 1

Still in house: Anna, Claire, Craig, Darren, Melanie, Tom
The housemates decide to throw a party on Friday by recreating cult seventies' gameshow 'It's A Knockout'. Craig begins the preparations by checking the chicken coop for eggs to use in an egg fight. Darren claims to Anna that he has not only met newcomer Claire before, but slept with her too. Claire turns the house into a bootcamp by leading the housemates in her "trendy army" around the house in a march and song.

Big Brother 2

Still in house: Amma, Brian, Dean, Elizabeth, Helen, Josh, Paul
Amma and Brian pretend to snog underneath the duvet in an effiort to prove things can be done without being seen by BB. Elizabeth employs incense sticks on a stench which is smelt in the girls room. Brian promises to have his head shaved if he escapes nomination tomorrow. Some of the housemates aren't fond of the house pet for the week, Paddy. Brian calls the dog "evil" and "a demon." Amma finally gets her hands on some tabacco when the shopping is delieverd to the store room. The boys face off against the girls in a game of volleyball. Brian admits he once wetted an ex-boyfriend's bed, but hid it from him by flipping the matress whilst he was out at work. Josh admits he's had four wet dreams in the house, and he gets them regularly in the outside world. The group try to dress in disguise, using hats and sunglasses, for the nominations, although BB makes them take the items off.

Big Brother 3

Still in house: Adele, Alex, Jade, Jonny, Kate, PJ, Tim
Tim spends £100 of his £400 shopping budget on a single magazine.. and doesn't even know which one he'll be receiving. Adele tells Jade she "literally doesn't like" Jonny. Tim gets the opportunity to invite one housemate over to the rich side of the house for the evening, but only if he learns facts about all of his housemates and then answres 4 out of 6 questions correctly in the diary room. BB1's Nasty Nick tips PJ and Kate to be the final two, with PJ taking the prize. Ratings are up to an average of 5.2 million viewers per episode. Tim passes his task, answering five questions correctly, and chooses Kate to come over for tea. He also wins bag of goodies for the housemates stuck on the poor side.
