Have you ever had that feeling that one small thing you said to somebody triggered off a domino effect that you'd never imagined? Or maybe you did so knowing what the consequences might be? Well the power of the word has shown its strength in the house this evening.

Things kicked off just after 7pm when the shy, reluctant Ahmed was given a lesson in tactics by body-builder Jason. Reassuring Ahmed that he appreciated his honesty Jason told Ahmed that "You don't have to be everybody's friend... start getting involved in discussion... start getting noticed", going on to encourage him to cause conflict otherwise he'd be kicked out. The ever subtle Jason reminded his devotee of a previous encounter with a fellow housemate and suggested he speak his mind, as in "Marco you're irritating me".

The previously non-confrontational Ahmed left no time to waste his new advice before approaching the cause of his irritation, Marco, relaxing in the pool. "I cannot hide my emotions" declared Ahmed. Although these are words we would normally expect to be followed by exortations of love they certainly were not, rather, feelings that included being upset that Marco treated him like a child and avoided eye-contact. Marco responded by declaring that Ahmed was "nasty" for hiding his feelings. Later they both agreed that they felt better for being honest.

However, Marco certainly didn't look like he felt better when he emerged for the diary room, after chatting to Big Brother about the episode, in tears. Luckily for him his harem were there to sooth his wounds.

Could this be Jason stirring up a hornets' nest, setting the cat (Marco, not Kitten) amongst his pigeons? His butch looks could be hiding a rather more manipulative brain.
