Big Brother has reacted incredibly strongly to the silent protest...by setting fire to Stu's beloved cowboy hat.

Footage of the flaming headware was played to housemates on the plasma screen as they looked on aghast.

The news was carried on BBLB who had mounted a campaign to get Stu his beloved hat back.

As a protest, Stu sported the teeny weeny hat he had received from BB as a replacement.
