The Court of Big Brother opened this morning as the first weekly task got underway.

At 11am, Lisa was chosen by her fellow housemates to read a scroll attached to an arrow fired in the garden. Taking it to the diary room, she learnt that this decision had led to her being crowned 'Queen of Big Brother' for three days. She then had to choose roles for each of her 'courtiers.'

The new roles in full:

  • Queen: Lisa's new role is to not lift a royal finger.
  • Royal Dresser: chosen by Lisa, Caprice will dress and undress the Queen every morning and evening and taste her food.
  • Royal Cook: Germaine will prepare all the royal meals.
  • Court Jester: to amuse the Court with jokes and merriment. This role has been assigned to John.
  • Royal Minstrel: Kenzie will entertain the Court with music and song.
  • Footmen x 2: Jeremy and Bez will carry the queen on the royal sedan chair whenever she enters the 'courtyard' (the garden).
  • The Royal Warmer: Brigitte will warm the royal toilet seat before the queen wishes to use the toilet. She will also warm the queen's bed at night.


    • Overnight, the garden and living area were given a medieval makeover, including stocks and a flagpole. The housemates have also been provided with costumes to wear for the duration of the task.

    The courtiers will be given two additional "chores" to undertake later today.

    Successful completion of the weekly task will see the group rewarded "beyond their wildest dreams."
