It's been a very dramatic evening in the Big Brother House, and it doesn't look like it will end soon.

More than a few feathers were ruffled when earlier yesterday evening the ninth housemate, Jackie Stallone, mother of Brigitte Neilson's ex-husband Sly, entered the house.

Whilst outwardly very calm in Jackie's presence it was clear from the start that Brigitte was not happy with the situation, causing John to break his silence of two days to reassure her. She quickly took the other female housemates to the side to tell them her feelings about her ex-mother-in-law, causing dissent amongst the ranks, although the lads (excluding John who had reverted to silence) and Caprice seemed initially enamoured by their new guest, captivated by her talk of palm-reading, astronomy and predominant sides of the brain.

However, shortly after the new Queen Mum had been tucked up in bed - having been undressed by Princess Caprice, and having had her toilet seat and bed warmed by none other than Brigitte, the mood changed.

Fuelled by the plentiful consumption of alcohol Brigitte declared to the other housemates that she was leaving the house and her mind was made up. Her stated reason was NOT the presence of Mrs Stallone, whom she called "charming" but that she and her children would be splattered all over the UK tabloids, something she didn't want to have to face. Despite much persausion from the other celebs it was clear that her plans would not be swayed - Brigitte wanted another bottle of wine to herself, to be left alone to think, and then to be allowed to leave.

With no further wine forthcoming, and no signs of her fellow housemates retiring to bed, it looks unlikely that her requests will be granted. But will she still walk? Or will things look a whole lot different in the cold light of day?
