The housemates praised their inner beauties last night in their latest mini task.

Big Brother split the group into three teams then gave each one hour to prepare a presentation.

Anthony and Makosi were required to use a selection of props as representations for their housemates. At the end of the hour they explained their choices.

Anthony - who was the recipient of several diary room slaps two nights before - chose boxing gloves to represent Craig's personality. "It shows that he fights for what he thinks is right," he explained. "He'll fight for his friendship. It shows his loyalty - he'd actually put his friends in front of himself. He's a very kind lad as well."

Derek was represented by a helmet - "a thinking cap" - and Eugene, "a very hard-working man", by a bucket.

Makosi picked a ball to symbolise Anthony's "very round personality", while cardiac nurse Makosi was represented by a heart.

Kemal was objectified as a shoe because of "how versatile he is" and Orlaith as a pair of fairy wings, owing to her generosity.

The oldest members of the house - Derek, Eugene and Orlaith - then teamed up for a special mime performance. The trio donned special outfits and white face paint for the act, which was performed to a piece of traditional mime music.

Finally, Kemal and Craig morphed into one being, 'Kemagia', for the original song 'Reveal Your Inner Beauty':

As a reward for passing the task, Big Brother offered a choice between two prizes: a "cute" kitten and pampering products or fags and booze.

"Well that's not much of a reward, is it?" asked a disappointed Derek as Orlaith made an empassioned plea for the kitten.

"I can breast feed it if it gets hungry," declared Makosi after a vote went unanimously in favour of the kitten.
