Pete: "Essentially I'm a loner"

Pete has admitted that the tumultuous conditions inside the house have forced him to become introspective.

The singer, who has mellowed considerably in recent days, said he had been particularly affected by the separation from his boyfriend.

"After spending all that time together 24 hours a day, seven days a week - all but for 48 hours probably once every 3 months when he returns to see his daughter - it's fucking tough for me," he told Preston.

"I've realised in here that essentially I'm a loner, he just happens to fit in to my solitary jigsaw," he continued, adding: "I've been a difficult person to be with, and the person you're seeing in here... it's a different [person]. Except for visually."
