The housemates have now all been allocated their jobs for the week, with some happier than others in their new-found roles.

Nikki - still reeling from her earlier nomination - had feared being given a "poxy job" but literally screamed witrh delight when she found out she had become Big Brother's PA.

Aisleyne and Pete landed the role of gardeners, while Mikey and Richard were pleased to hear they would be working as lifeguards, even more so when they found out their hours of work were 12-4 in the afternoon.

Other jobs given to the housemates weren't so easy going. Grace will sport a sandwich board during the afternoon, whilst perhaps worst of all, Lea and Sam will work overnight as security guards.

The housemates must successfully complete their job to win the task without being sacked. If three or more of them are fired the group will fail and be left with a basic shopping budget for next week.

The housemates were clearly ecstatic at the prospect of trying something new, especially when the staff room was opened for them to collect their uniforms.

"This is so funny," Imogen said with a smile - even though she'd been handed one of the less desirable vacancies, the toilet attendant.

As usual, Sam couldn't agree more. "This is totally amazing," she gushed. "Oh my God, I've not been this happy for ages."
