Emily lied to BB about being single?

Emily Parr lied to Big Brother producers about being single, according to a report in The Mirror today.

The 19-year-old drama student has been dating drummer Alex Neal for two years. Emily's pals have speculated that she told producers she was single so that she would stand a better chance of being picked as a housemate.

A friend told the newspaper: "I don't understand what's going on because I saw Emily and Alex in a club together last week and they were really happy together. Maybe she thought she'd have a better chance of getting on if programme makers thought she was a singleton."

Another pal added: "Emily and Alex are very close, but Alex is stressed out about being apart from her for three months. He's concerned about what might happen while Emily's in the house - she's obviously a very pretty girl."
