Big Brother called Gerry into the diary room this evening to give him photographs his family had sent him.

On coming out of the diary room he went to the bathroom and started to cry. When Nicky followed him in to find out why he was upset, he explained he had been given photos that made him emotional. "It's strange a small piece of paper can have such an effect on you," he pondered.

Nicky brought him tissues and told him: "I didn't have any pictures for a while, then my aunt sent me one. I just felt very down for a while." She said what cheered her up again was when he and Seány came into the house.

Gerry told Nicky that some of the photos were of loved ones who had died. "It's my great grandmother and grandmother who brought me up who is gone. My mother who is gone and my best friend who is gone," he explained.

He promised to show Nicky the pictures when he is ready but said: "They're nothing special."
"That doesn't matter, they're important to you." Nicky replied. Gerry paused for a moment and asked: "What has become of us? Drama people."
