New housemate 'Pauline' has been introduced to her future housemates via a video link.
Though actress Thaila Zucchi was sitting in the Big Brother studio the whole time, housemates believed 'Pauline', a 26-year-old waitress, had just been evicted from Australian Big Brother and would be sent to the house in the UK.
"You're going to England, Pauline," said the fake Big Brother with an Australian accent.
Zucchi, exclaimed: "Oh my god! I love England, thank you so much Big Brother! That's brilliant!"
Giving a message to the UK house, 'Pauline' noted: "I look forward to seeing you all!"
As the video disappeared from the screen, housemates began to talk excitedly, not seeming to have rumbled Big Brother's ploy.
