The 12 housemates slowly awoke this morning to find that Scottish actor Alan Cumming was the new celebrity hijacker.
Replacing ex-footballer Ian Wright, who proved a popular choice with the contestants, the star of films such as X-Men 2 and GoldenEye chose an unconventional way to make his introduction: with photographs of himself on the walls.
The news was well-received by the housemates, with Jay describing it as "major". The group discussed Cumming's film roles, with Calista mistakenly referring to him as having starred in Batman.
Cumming made first contact with the house around noon, with his Scottish lilt impressing the housemates. "I love him," enthused Jay.
