Housemates pass Janet's challenge

The housemates were told that they successfully passed Janet's challenges this afternoon and that they have won a luxury meal as a result.

Celebrity hijacker Janet Street-Porter asked the housemates to sit around the dining table, so that she could run through all three challenges that she had set this afternoon.

She started in reverse order by telling Jade and Jeremy that they had failed their task to interview her in a mock television show. Janet told them: "I'm going to be perfectly honest... this started reasonably well with all the will in the world. But it had no structure." She added: "You allowed me to take control of the interview and dominate it, you lost control."

She then moved on to Jay and John's commentating task, where they had to watch running footage of the housemates and talk about what they saw for ten minutes.

Janet started off by telling the other contestants: "I'll tell you something, they didn't tell you the sneaky things they said about you that everyone at home could hear!" She then congratulated the pair for having good chemistry and being interesting for most of the time and told them they received a pass.

Today's hijacker then finished with the group challenge where Emilia and Victor took on Nathan and Amy in a debate.

Janet told them: "I'm a good task master but you did good." She then singled out Amy and Nathan for doing especially well.

She finished the round-up by letting them know that overall they had passed and they will be receiving a luxury menu tomorrow night as a result.

Janet then said that she had been dreading their efforts but that she had enjoyed her day, thanked them and said goodbye.
