Despite minimal rations, Mohamed cooked an elaborate lunch this afternoon, causing outrage among his fellow housemates.

The meal of two slices of toast, spaghetti hoops, mushrooms and onions was considered "unnecessarily excessive" by Luke and "shocking" by Dennis, sparking a discussion for stricter rationing for next week.

"You guys had a lot of food last week and I didn’t," said Mohamed. "Last week I starved more than anyone else because I didn’t know there was enough halal in there. There was a certain amount allocated to me, but I was sharing it round."

Rex complained that there were no strict rationing rules in place, saying: "Everyone is thinking, 'Why am I rationing if no one else is?'"

"I think one person should do all the breakfasts," suggested Stephanie. "Because they’d do it all fair."

Alex said she would keep her own shopping portion next week: "This is how it’s gonna be: my seven quid is not going into the group budget. No one touch it."

Rex said that, if that were the case, he would spend his entire shopping allowance on alcohol.
