Earlier, the housemate had jumped across the divide and taken a banana from the Head of House challenge, which meant that he would be sent to Hell.
During a chat with Kathreya, he revealed why he had done it, knowing what the punishment would be. "I wanted to jump," he said. "If any of them won it, none of them would pick me."
He added: "I would rather not get hurt by it than get hurt by it."
Mohamed then argued: "It would make life a lot easier for them if I choose. I didn't want to be there expecting them to say: 'I'm not going to take you.'"
However, he confessed that he wasn't looking forward to being apart from Rex. "We won't be able to talk as much," he worried.
Kathreya described the divide as simply a "mentality" and said Rex would continue to talk to them. "If he doesn't, he's not a good friend," she remarked. "It's better to know now than later."
She noted that Rex would probably be happier in Heaven with the luxuries, saying: "If you love someone, you hope for the best for them."
