The latest news snippets and gossip from the house...

  • Amy and Latoya discussed why they thought they had been woken up earlier today. Amy suggested that the hijacker might be making an unusually early appearance and that "they might be wanting to get stuff done before the eviction".
  • Radio DJ Scott Mills asked for everyone to gather on the sofas immediately, even though they were still in bed sleeping. He asked Emilia to hurry up because all of her housemates were waiting for her while she pottered around in the bedroom.
  • The housemates laughed at their efforts to draw Anthony this morning. Nathan looked over Calista's shoulder and told her that her picture looked "like someone out of South Park". The musician then warned Anthony that he had made him look like Wesley Snipes in his attempt at drawing.
  • Latoya gave up on drawing when she decided that she was no good at art. Amy played along with her and told her that they would "fail the task" if she didn't complete it, even though they were both aware that it was only a fake challenge. She joked to Latoya: "Well you're just putting yourself first, and your pride."
  • Emilia asked the housemates whether they would come to see one of her circus shows when the programme is finished. Nathan told her that he and Jeremy "definitely would" and got her excited by saying that they would go to her show in Berlin. Emilia also said that she does a lot of performances in London and hoped that the others would come to see her too.
  • The housemates teased Anthony for his habit of cross-dressing. "You love wearing wigs and women's dresses," joked Calista. John joined in: "Do you know I have to keep reminding myself that you are the boxer of the group." Jeremy soon came to Anthony's defence, reminding the group: "He's a human being, not just a punching bag."
  • Calista and Amy discussed their fears that Emilia would be evicted tonight as "girls are always in trouble in these situations". Both agreed they'd be devastated if she left, with Calista confiding: "As long as you're here I'm fine."
  • Anthony shared with Liam his reconciliation with Big Brother after his rule-breaking earned the group basic rations yesterday. "I made up with them, we made up," confided the boxer. "I said sorry for being immature and rude and she said don’t worry about it."
  • Jeremy, Victor, Jay and Emilia reflected on their time in the BB house. "I know as soon as I come out of here I'm gonna be like 'I was wish I was in the BB house'," said Jay. "It feels like it's real life now," mused Jeremy.
  • Amy told Liam how the BB experience had been "a holiday from reality". The artist revealed that she burdens herself with too much pressure to excel in the outside world and that she is a nicer person in the house. "At home I'm really awful, I'm a nightmare, I'm annoying to live with. I annoy myself so I must annoy other people. And I can be really selfish."
  • Celebrity hijacker Scott Mills signed off in the early afternoon, as he had to head back to his job at Radio One. As he said his goodbyes, Emilia wailed: "I'm really hungry, I'm dying." Mills promised her that food would come, but the circus star remained unimpressed, noting: "That was finished early."
  • Amy and Jay privately berated their fellow housemates for complaining of hunger. "We've got shelter and it's warm and we've got all the water we can drink," chirped Amy, as Jay confirmed that the BB experience would give him a new appreciation of things.
  • Calista and Jay looked over the group's portraits of Anthony, with Calista urging the fashion designer to look at her artwork. "I like it," responded Jay. But Calista knew its true worth: "I thought it was the best, to be honest."
