The film will see Khan, who featured in a string of box office flops last year, reunited with Bazmee after the pair worked together on smash hit No Entry in 2005.
Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, who will be financing the project, told Bollywood Hungama: "The film will be a complete entertainer, like most of Aneesji's film, and will have romance, comedy and some really good music.
"The film has a big budget of approximately 100 crores."
Bazmee added: "Yes, I am looking forward to directing Salman once again after No Entry. We had a great time and bonded really well. I am sure it will be a great experience this time too."
Khan and Bazmee will begin filming in August, with the film expected to be released early next year.
