Shekhar: 'Nicole Kidman was fun'

Bollywood director Shekhar Kapur has revealed that he enjoyed working with Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman recently.

Kapur shot a commercial starring Kidman at the Lake Palace in Udaipur after ruling out Rome and New York as possible locations.

He told the Times of India: "It was fun working with her.

"And though we worked together for less than four days, I can say she’s a thorough professional, besides being a humble and warm person."

The patriotic director also revealed that he charged less for shooting the project in a bid to ensure it was filmed in India.

Rubina Ali, who played the young Latika in Slumdog Millionaire, also starred in the commercial, which was to promote Schweppes.
