Mallika Sherawat will be appearing at the annual Fangoria event at the Los Angeles Convention Centre to promote Hissss.
Sherawat will appear alongside the film's director Jennifer Lynch, the daughter of four-time Oscar nominee David Lynch, to unveil clips of the new fantasy film.
The actress, who appeared in the blockbuster Welcome in 2007, described her role in Hissss as unusually challenging.
She said: "I have always taken risks, done unconventional things. This role too is very unusual - my get-up is something never before seen in Bollywood movies. I have to express emotions through my eyes as I don’t have any dialogue."
Sherawat plays Naagin, a snake person who transforms into a beautiful woman in her search for vengeance. Hissss also features Irfan Khan, who starred in Slumdog Millionaire, and Jeff Douchette.
