Abhishek and Aishwarya in 'Crooked'

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have agreed to star in an upcoming espionage thriller, after wrapping up Mani Ratnam's Raavan.

The married couple will shoot alongside Gul Panag, Jimmy Shergil and Boman Irani in Abhinay Deo's next project, tentatively titled Crooked.

Ritesh Sidhwani, the producer of Crooked, compared the film to The Bourne Identity and announced that it would be shot at exotic locations in Greece, Turkey, Thailand and India.

Sidhwani also added that the movie's title would most likely change closer to its release.

Bachchan and Rai will be following in the footsteps of another real life pair, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, who are playing spies in Sriram Raghavan's Agent Vinod.
