Rambo to debut in Bollywood

Hollywood icon Rambo is set for a singing and dancing Bollywood remake in order to update the character for Indian audiences, it has been revealed.

Akshay Kumar and Karina Kapoor have been lined up to star in Kambakht Ishq, which will see Sylvester Stallone portray John Rambo in a new light.

The violence-loving Vietnam veteran will be the centre of a romantic comedy, in what is being billed as the first time a Bollywood film will feature an A-list Hollywood cast.

Denise Richards and Brendon Routh have already signed on to the movie.

The Times reports that the fusion of Bollywood and Hollywood talent may be the Indian film industry’s attempt at revitalising itself, as several big budget Hindi films have recently flopped at the box office.
