Bollywood 'to show its thrifty side'

ANI reports that "modestly budgeted" Bollywood movies such as Kites are using the event in hope of achieving cross-culture success, following the wide appeal of Slumdog Millionaire.
Other films such as the Sir Ben Kingsley-starring Teen Patti will be searching for a distributor in the Western markets.
Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor's Kambakkht Ish has also been lined up to screen at Cannes.
The film stars Sylvester Stallone in his Bollywood debut.
