Bhansali to write 'Chenab Gandhi' score
Published Saturday, May 23 2009, 01:54 BST | By Jenni Marsh

Bhansali will compose the score for the film, drawing inspiration from his musical heroes Pandit Birju Maharaj and Lata Mangeshkar, reports the Times Of India.
He told the newspaper: "To do music for my own film is one thing because I know exactly what the characters think, feel and what kind of music they’ll favour.
"But to interpret characters written by someone else in a musical format is far more difficult. I am enjoying the challenge."
Chenab Gandhi will star Amitabh Bachchan and has been made on a budget of £4.6 million.
