Rahman: 'Slumdog changed my life'

The musician made the revelation after being named one of TIME magazine's 100 most influential people the world.
"The Oscar changed my life. I can’t even attend places of prayer without being recognised," he told The Times Of India.
"Even when I’m at malls in the US kids freeze in recognition when they see me."
Rahman, who was seated next to Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey at the publication's awards evening, added that his life is just "getting back to normal".
