Divya lines up Hollywood career

Divya Dutta is to follow up her Hollywood debut in Jennifer Lynch’s Hissss with Heart Land - a romantic comedy about Indians living in Texas.

Barney & Friends director Fred Holmes is behind the new project which will be shot in both India and the US.

Dutta joins an increasing number of Bollywood actors such as Aamir Khan and fellow Hissss star Mallika Sherawat in making the transition to Hollywood.

Of her success, she states: "The other day when I was out for a dinner, a few students sitting at the next table sent me a note that they were proud of me.”

Despite her busy schedule Stateside, Dutta also has several Bollywood projects lined up following her last big release Delhi-6. She will be next seen in Chargesheet with Jacky Shroff.
