The woman, who worked as a maid at Ahuja's apartment in Mumbai, approached Oshiwara police last night and claimed that she had been raped by the actor.
Ahuja is expected to appear before a court at some stage today, police said.
The 36-year-old, who recently wrapped up shooting Har Pall opposite Preity Zinta, is best known for starring in Karam and Gangster.
